    HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD CHARGING THE BATTERY STEP 1 Press and hold the two square but- tons on the side of the battery com- partment and simultaneously pull it away from the main body to unlock Warning! When attempting to unlock and remove the battery compartment from the device outdoors, please make sure that it is not raining or snowing.

  • Page 10 HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD PREPARATION OF AIRSHROUD STEP 2 Place AirShroud into the boot. Make sure that the battery compartment (the side with the On/Off button) is facing to the left. STEP 3 There is a pair of small hooks attached to an adjustable strap and buckle behind the device on the left and right side.
  • Page 11 HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD PREPARATION OF AIRSHROUD STEP 6 Adjust the length of the strap by sliding the buckle up or down and pulling the strap. Attention! When adjusting the length of the strap, please do it while the device is resting inside the boot and not suspended on the side of your car.
  • Page 12 HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD PREPARATION OF AIRSHROUD Attention! Make sure that the hooks are firmly hooked before you try to suspend the device outside to avoid it from falling and causing injury to your feet, as well as causing damage to the device.

    If you had not yet done so, please read the ‘Preparation of AirShroud’ section. STEP 1 Open the trunk lid at the rear of the car. (If AirShroud is not cur- rently stored inside the trunk, place it inside now with the battery compartment facing towards the left.) STEP 2 Make sure that the adjustable straps are properly hooked in place.
  • Page 14 Closely monitor the power indicator. If power is low, please recharge first. Attention! If AirShroud is low on power after covering your car, you can remove the battery compartment, and recharge it indoors. If you do so, please do it when weather conditions are dry.

    HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD UNCOVERING YOUR CAR If your car cover is not currently fixed on to your wheels by the side-release buckles, please skip STEP 1 and STEP 5. STEP 1 Unlock the side-release buckles on the rear car wheels, remove the strap from the wheel frames and put it back into the pocket.
  • Page 22 HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD UNCOVERING YOUR CAR Attention! The trunk lid may not be able to open all the way because the car cover may be holding it back. Don’t worry about it nor try to force the trunk lid to open all the way.
  • Page 23 HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD UNCOVERING YOUR CAR STEP 6 Loosen up the cover by taking out the elasticated hems at the front cor- ners of the car and place the cover on top of the bonnet. Then proceed to loosen up the side-mirror pockets if yours is a tailored car cover.
  • Page 24 HOW TO USE AIRSHROUD UNCOVERING YOUR CAR STEP 10 Twist the handle on the handle rod anticlockwise to loosen, then pull to extend the length of the rod. Once the rod reaches a com- fortable length, twist the handle clockwise to lock the length of the rod.

    MAINTENANCE AirShroud has been designed to operate over a long period of time with minimal required maintenance. Continuous satisfacto- ry operation depends on proper care and cleaning. STORAGE You can keep AirShroud stored inside the boot. Otherwise, please keep it stored in a cool and dry place.

    Water entered into the gap at the top of the device. How do I get it out? At the bottom of AirShroud, there is a small rubber plug. It is normally plugged so that any excess water that entered through the top would not leak out and soak any other items stored in the boot.
  • Page 31 TROUBLESHOOT/ FAQ Why does the device sometimes turn itself off during normal operation of AirShroud? The product is installed with a safety mechanism that shuts the product down if it detects there is a risk of short-circuiting or the battery from overheating. This usually happens if the uncovering phase was done improperly.
