For speed dome cameras that supports RS-485, connect them directly to the RS- 485 port. But if the camera is controlled with RS-232C, it is needed to use Signal Converter (RS-485 to RS-232C) In the PTZ Control setting in the setup menu, user can select or set the protocol type of the camera which is the same as the one that is installed on the site. -

In this case, select LAN as the NETWORK type. User will also need to configure the IP sharing device for port forwarding to allow for a network connection. -
