  • Page 2 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the GE-PON ONU Equipment made by Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. This instruction manual describes the basic operations of the ONU Equipment. Read the instruction manual carefully before operating the equipment for proper use of the unit. Store this manual for later reference as needed.

    CAUTION ・Follow the instructions shown in this manual and install the equipment properly. ・Do not install the equipment near a heat source. ・Do not install the equipment in a vibrating, slanted, or unstable location. ・Do not install the equipment near equipment generating strong magnetic fields, such as a motor. ・Do not block the vent holes of the equipment.

Connect the cables as shown below and use the equipment. ・Plug the AC adapter into the AC outlet (100 VAC). ・Insert the modular RJ-45 plugs of the LAN cables into the LAN 1 and LAN 2 RJ-45 modular jacks on the rear panel.
