Please turn off the radio before entering an inflammable and explosive area. Do not replace the battery or charging when you are in an inflammable and explosive area. Preparing Your Radio for Use Charging the Battery Please only use the battery which specified by the manufacturer. Unauthorized batteries may cause the failure of Ex-protection or bodily injury and property damages.

    To remove the battery, turn the radio off. Push upward the battery latch into unlock position and hold, and slide the battery down and off the rails Attaching the Antenna Turn off the radio, set the antenna in its receptacle and turn clockwise. Attaching the Belt Clip Remove the battery first, line up the holes and insert 2pcs screws.

    Adjusting the Volume To increase the volume, turn the On/Off/Volume Control Knob clockwise. To decrease the volume, turn this knob counterclockwise Select a Channel Turn the channel knob to select the channel number. The radio has 1000pcs channels and 250pcs channel zones (Each zone can set 16pcs channels). Each channel can set Analog mode or Digital mode.

Encryption The privacy feature is enabled. Monitor Selected channel is being monitored. Emergency Radio is in Emergency mode.

    LED Indicator The LED indicator shows operation status of your radio. Red: Radio is in transmitting signal, sending test message, sending a privacy-enabled call or data. Radio is Powered on or receiving signal, receiving test message, receiving a privacy-enabled call or Green: data.

    Remote Monitor Use the Remote Monitor feature to turn on the microphone of a target radio (subscriber alias or IDs only). No audible or visual indication is given to the target radio. You can use this feature to monitor, remotely, any audible activity surrounding the target radio.

On entering scan, your radio may – depending on the settings – automatically start on the last scanned “active” channel/group or on the channel where scan was initiated.
