In order to achieve the highest ambient operating temperature for the oscillator operating base plate temperature, Symmetricom recommends that the bottom ("base plate") of the oscillator has good ther- mal contact to the mounting surface. It is also very important to maintain a uniform temperature into the base plate of the 8200 through its mounting points. -
