The core component in this module is based on Sym- metricom's X72 rubidium oscillator.

    In order to achieve the highest ambient operating temperature for the oscillator operating base plate temperature, Symmetricom recommends that the bottom ("base plate") of the oscillator has good ther- mal contact to the mounting surface. It is also very important to maintain a uniform temperature into the base plate of the 8200 through its mounting points.
