Bucket forces Delivers performance and considerable breakout and tear- out forces for a machine in this category. The breakout force is the force developed by the bucket cylinder. The excavator’s ability to separate and de-compact material by leverage at the bucket teeth depends on this force. The tear-out force is the force developed by the arm cylinder and used for bucket penetration and tear-out of materials.
Page 20
Electrical Battery disconnect switch All machines are equipped with a battery disconnect switch on the outside of the cab. The switch is easily accessed and is located on the right side of the machine, next to the cab door. When the switch is disengaged the machine’s electricity supply is shut off.

Travel speed performance High speed has been increased by 20% compared to previous models. Hydraulic flow to the travel motors has also been increased. Customer Benefit • More productivity on the worksite during travelling or levelling applications. In depth hydraulic maintenance Very good access to all main hydraulic components.
Hydraulics Hydraulic gear pump The EC15C and EC17C are equipped with hydraulic mono pump system. This gear pump generates constant flow at different pressure levels. The pump is sturdy and reliable. Customer Benefit • Low operating and maintenance costs. Main Control Valve accessibility Easy accessibility to the main control valve.
Page 27
Hydraulic connectors quality ORFS (O Ring Face Seal) technology is used on most hydraulic connectors to ensure 100% certain leak tightness. It provides an excellent resistance to pressure peaks, vibrations and twisting. Customer Benefit • No risk of leakage for more safety along with lower operating and maintenance costs.
