4) Line up the slot of the bracket and the smoke detector. Push the detector onto the mounting bracket and turn it clockwise to fix in place. Pull forward on the smoke detector to make sure it is securely attached to the mounting bracket.

ACTIVATING AND TESTING YOUR SMOKE DETECTOR Remove the battery pull tab and the smoke detector will power on. Press the test button on the smoke detector 5 consecutive times. Pause, then press again 1 time. In a few seconds, your Medical Alarm CALLING FOR HELP.
