To fill, set the shutoff valve in the closed position and the roto handle in a stand-up position, slightly offset so accidental spillage will not drop on the motor.

Put the handle into the upright position. Tilt the machine back so the handle is flat on the floor and driving assembly is perpendicular to the floor.
