1. Slowly draw the knife though each guide slot in Stage 2 three times, alternating passes between the two slots. Each pass should take approximately three or more seconds, again depending on the blade length. (continued on page 7) Ginnys.com 800-544-1590... - Page 7 HOW TO OPERATE 2. Complete the honing process with one quick pass (approximately one second) through both slots of Stage 2. 3. Before using the sharpened knife to slice food, always wash the knife blade with warm, soapy water and wipe with a soft cloth. Note: If knife does not slice food with ease, repeat stage 1 and 2.
