Introduction: Your MoGo Blank Slate is a complete, portable financial transaction solution built by combining a standard Android tablet computer with a shock absorbing, water‐resistant “smart case” that not only protects the base tablet, but also adds a series of secure peripherals (magnetic card reader, front facing camera for bar code scanning, 3G/4G modules, etc.) to customize the device for specific enterprise level applications. An AC Power Supply is included with the device, for charging the battery. Insert the micro USB connector on the charging cable into the port on the side of the Blank Slate case. Plug the power supply into an appropriate 110 to 240 AC source. Note: The battery comes partially charged. You must fully charge the battery before using your device for the first time. The Battery icon in the Status Bar shows battery power level. When battery power is 15% or less, your device will prompt you to charge the battery. If you continue to operate the device without charging, the device will power off. Turning On the Device: Power Button Press and hold the power button (located on the left side of the top edge of the device) for approximately 3 seconds to turn on the unit. Once the system boots, the system home screen will be presented with icons for the installed software applications. In some cases, the devices will be configured to launch directly into a custom software application for a particular enterprise. Standby (Sleep) Mode: With the system running, a quick press of the power button will blank the system display and put the system into “Standby Mode”. A second quick press of the power button will restore the system to full operation. Turning Off the Device: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds.
