Digital television, introduction to interactive menus The first thing you’ll want to do with your new receiver will probably be to turn it on. Press “POWER” to turn on your receiver. CHANGING THE CHANNEL There are several ways to change the channel. The CH + and – buttons display the channels from top to bottom or bottom to top You can tune in to a channel by directly entering its number, which will be displayed on the top right corner, and by pressing the OK/SEL button.

Interactive menu You can tune in to a channel via the program guide by selecting the program you want to watch and pressing the OK/SEL button. If you try to tune in to a program that will be aired later on in the schedule, a menu will appear with the option of displaying additional information about the program or if you have a PVR, you will have the option of recording the program.
Note: the E-MAIL and WEB function cannot be used at that time. Our customer relations centre will be happy to inform you of the latest developments regarding our PVRs and receivers. Settings menu Select USERS to display the different user configurations for the receiver. If no user has been created, you’ll see the window displayed below inviting you to create a new user. Users Package Billing This is where the password for the receiver and the PIN for the current user can be modified. Here is an example of the window that will appear if you want to modify a user.
Favourites This section allows you to create lists of your favourite channels or “favourites”. This option lets you quickly access the channels you watch the most. Here, you can create several lists than you can later on modify. Naming your lists will help you better navigate them! Choose Edit...
Parental control This section allows you to block and unblock specific channels. It allows you to better manage the television content that your family members can watch. The PARENTAL CONTROL box in the PREFERENCES section must be ticked to activate parental control. Tick the PARENTAL CONTROL box to activate this function.

You can activate this function in the PREFERENCES section by ticking the box CHANNEL BLOCKING. Then, select the channels you want to block and press EDIT.
Recording a program Amino 530 and 540 PVR It is possible to start recording when you are already watching a channel by pressing the OK/SEL button on your remote control and selecting Record Program. Another way of recording content in real-time is to press the REC button on your remote control. When you are recording content in real-time, a red dot will appear on the lower right of your screen with the mention LIVE TV.
