See image below. Manual Freewheel Lever Whenever you need or want to push your Scooter for short distances, you can put it in freewheel mode. Off-Board Battery Charger The off-board battery charger, when plugged into the charger power cord receptacle and a standard electrical outlet, charges the Scooter’s batteries.

Never use an extension cord to plug in your battery charger. Plug the charger directly into a properly wired standard electrical outlet.
