1. Content of the package
This handsome in-wall media player / radio module / stereo amplifier comes as a kit which includes
The player/radio unit / stereo amplifier
The power supply
Two in-wall mounting back boxes
A remote control
Mounting screws
If the original seal of the package was broken, any warranty or missing parts claim is void.
If any of these parts are missing while the seal of the package was unbroken, please ask your reseller
to apply for either a refund or a replacement kit.
This mediaplayer kit is a high-tech microprocessor controlled high-frequency device. Do not try to
dismantle or service any parts yourself.
The power supply is directly fed from the mains. Please never touch the mains terminals or open the
device when it is under power.
2. Preparing the installation
2.1. Mounting the back boxes
The kit comes with two plastic back boxes, one for the power supply, one for the media player unit.
The units should preferably be close to one another, in order to keep the low voltage power leads
between the units as short as possible.
Remote mounting of the power supply is possible, within certain limits (max. 20 meter).
Never mount the mains power supply unit in a room with high-humidity like a bathroom. Please
always respect the respective national security codes for electrical installations.
The back boxes can be cemented into the wall like any other electrical back box by using a good-
quality multi-purpose cement.
