The GM20 contains an electronics board with 5V DC supplied through the gateway cable.

At least 2.5m (8’) above solid obstacles in the space between the gateway and the nearest sensor. At least 1.5m (4.5’) from other wireless antennas or other Permasense Gateways to avoid any possible ‘blinding’ effects.
