    EXTENSION CORDS Use proper extension cords. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition and is a 3-wire extension cord which has a 3-prong grounding type plug and matching receptacle which will accept the machine’s plug. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current of the machine.

  • Page 13 UNPACKING AND CLEANING Carefully unpack the machine and all loose items from the shipping container(s). Remove the rust-preventative oil from unpainted surfaces using a soft cloth moistened with mineral spirits, paint thinner or denatured alcohol. Do not use highly volatile solvents such as gasoline, naphtha, acetone or lacquer thinner for cleaning your machine.

  • Page 16 ATTACHING THE TOP FILTER BAG Disconnect the machine from the power source! 1) Place a large 5/16” flat washer on a 5/16” hex head screw 2) Position the bracket (A) on the dust collector (fig. 9). 3) Insert 5/16” hex head screw through the hold in the bracket, then thread it into the hole in the dust collector.
  • Page 17 OPERATION OPERATIONAL CONTROLS AND ADJUSTMENTS For operator safety, do not operate the machine with any dust intake holes uncovered. The rotating fan, located inside the blower housing, is accessible through the dust intake port and can be hazardous. Always wear proper apparel. Do not wear jewelry.
