CLEANING: Clean every 6 months or after using mineralized or salt water exposure or use. Follow these simple steps before you leave home, and then clean at least every six months or when you use well, salt, lake or river water. -

- Page 12 Troubleshooting Guide Maintaining Flow The number one reason that the portable tankless water heater does not ignite is that there is not enough water pressure. You need a minimum of 20 PSI. which the pump will provide with a charged battery. If heater shuts down it is most likely that the system has lost sufficient water pressure which will shut down the heater.
