  • Page 4 Check intensity. Check the intensity of the light using a radiometer per your institution’s procedures. Shield infant’s eyes with protective eye shields designed for use during phototherapy. Position light over infant. The light can be placed on top of an incubator, or used with the arm and roll stand for positioning the light with a bassinet, open bed, radiant warmer or incubator.

  • Page 6 Warnings Warning! Placement directly on incubator: Confirm all suction cup feet are fully seated on the top of the incubator enclosure to prevent slippage. When placing the light enclosure directly on incubator, care must be taken to ensure a safe operating environment. Secure power cord to minimize risk of tripping.
