8.3 Configuring Email

You can program the system to send an email notification to
all selected users if an alarm or motion event is detected or if the
administrator password is changed.
Email Configuration Screen
• Sender Email Address: Choose an email address to send the
notifications from.
• Password: Enter the user's password to confirm the user as the
sender.
• SSL: Check the box to enable SSL if the SMTP server requires it.
• Attachment: To include an attachment in the emails, click the
box to enable.
• User Name: Select the user(s) notify of the selected event.
• Receiver Email Address: Enter the email address for the
corresponding user(s).

• SMTP Server: Enter your SMTP Server IP address or host name.
• SMTP Port: Choose the SMTP port, the default TCP/IP port for
SMTP is 25.
• Click Save. You can test the email settings to make sure they
are inputted properly.
