basic operation

This section provides an overview of the main ACT 4
controls via the front panel touch-sensitive screen.
Initialization and Standby Mode
When first connected to AC power, the ACT 4 pre-amp
processor initializes its electronics. The front panel on/off
light ring illuminates with a pulsating red glow. The front
touch screen display initially shows the acurus logo and then

to a minute or so to complete.
Once initialized, the screen goes dark, the light ring around
the on/off button illuminates steady red and the ACT 4 is in
standby mode, ready for operation.
Power On
Pressing the power button on the ACT 4 front panel (or
activating the act 4 power through any of the network-based
methods) illuminates the light ring blue and brings up the
main ACT 4 control screen.
