Observe
that
each space
is numbered, even
though a
lug
is
not
installed.
Excepting
lug
11 and
lug21
,
all odd numbered
lugs are
on the
frontside
of the wafer (side
toward the shaft
end). Lug I 1
of
wafer
#1
has
solder lugs
on both
sides
of
the wafer.
The lug on the
front
side
of
the
wafer is
"11F"
and
the lug on
the
rear side is
lug "1

R."

Prepare a

yellow
hookup wire.

and connect one end
of
the
hookup
wire
to
lug 21
of
wafer
#1 of
the
2-wafer
rotary
switch
(S-1). The
other
end
will
be connected
later.

in the position
shown. Use
a
control
flat
washer,
a
control
lockwasher,
and
a control

Before
you
install
the
switch, position the hookup wire from
wafer
#1
so
its free end
will
be
over
the
circuit
board.
Be sure
to position the
spacers
between lugs
1
1 and
12
at
the
one
o'clock
Position.
CAUTION: When
you
solder wires
to the switch wafers in
the following
steps, be sure
you do not
use
so much solder
that it flows into the switch contacts.
