Terraneo INTRODUCTION DESCRIPTION The telephone exchange can make systems for communication in homes and offices combining the telephone services with the door entry services. In the basic version it can manage 2 telephone lines, 2 door entry calls and up to 8 telephones. Another telephone can be connected in parallel to each telephone.

If activated the DOSA service can put through a door entry call, from an outdoor station, to a telephone number, both landline and mobile.

Terraneo MAIN FUNCTIONS EXAMPLE OF A SYSTEM WITH TWO DIVISIONS AND TWO DOOR ENTRY CALLS In single-family systems the exchange can be programmed to have two divisions to separate the calls and services (see “operation with 2 divisions” table) to the home itself from those, for example, of an office or workshop or other forming part of the same residential unit.

PABX 28D 3.3 CALL ON OUTSIDE TELEPHONE LINE This operation can call an outside telephone, both landline and mobile. Lift the receiver; you will hear the start dialling tone. Press 0 for access to the available outside line (automatic search) or dial 11 or 12 to select outside telephone line 1 or 2.

Terraneo 3.4 REPEAT LAST NUMBER CALLED ON OUTSIDE TELEPHONE LINE The exchange saves the last number called by each telephone on the outside telephone line. The procedure to call the last number is that described below: Lift the receiver; you will hear the start dialling tone.

PABX 28D 3.5 USE OF THE SHORT NUMBER PHONE BOOK Up to 50 most frequently used telephone numbers can be saved in the phone book (see relevant chapter). These numbers can be sent to the telephone line by dialling 30XX, where XX (between 01 and 50) indicates the telephone number’s abbreviated code.

Terraneo 3.6 AUTO-DIAL ON BUSY BETWEEN EXTENSIONS If on calling an extension you obtain the busy signal, you can book the call as follows: Busy signal after calling an extension. PABX 28D 3.11 ANSWER ON NOTICE OF CALL If during a conversation another call (telephone or door entry) arrives the exchange sends a notice of call tone to the lifted receivers and the other enabled telephones ring. You can answer normally by lifting the receiver of one of the free telephones.

Terraneo 3.12 CAPTURE CALL WITH ANSWERING MACHINE SERVICE A call sent to the answering machine can be intercepted using the “capture call” service. PABX 28D 3.13 DIRECT ACCESS TO THE OUTSIDE TELEPHONE LINE When the “direct access to the outside telephone line” service is activated, you can access the outside telephone line from any telephone connected to the telephone exchange by just lifting the receiver.

Terraneo 3.14 TEMPORARY UNLOCKING OF PREFIXES This service can temporarily unlock the prefix lock on a telephone if set up in the programming phase. Dial 97 followed by the four figures of the password (base 1234) (e.g. 971234); If the password is not correct the exchange sends a time-out tone as an invitation to hang up. If the password is correct you will hear a dial tone, the prefix lock is now deactivated.

Terraneo DOOR ENTRY SERVICES 4.1 OPEN DOOR LOCK In systems with several outdoor stations, during the call and conversation, the command operates the door lock of the outdoor station from which the call was made. With an idle system (no call) instead it operates the door lock of the outdoor station configured as main.

PABX 28D DOOR ENTRY SERVICES 4.3 SELF-SWITCHING ON OF THE OUTDOOR STATION This command allows you to hear and see (with video systems) what is happening at the outdoor station. Lift the receiver. Press the key with symbol (Self-switching on) if the telephone is of the Pivot series; press R61 if it is another telephone.

If the PABX is suitably programmed the devices can also be switched on and off from an outside telephone making a call to the telephone line to which the PABX is connected.

Terraneo OTHERS SERVICES 5.6 PUTTING THE DOOR ENTRY CALL THROUGH ON OUTSIDE TELEPHONE LINE (DOSA SERVICE) When the service is active, when there is a door entry call, as well as ringing the enabled extensions the exchange automatically dials a telephone number, landline or mobile, which the user has previously saved in the short number phone book, putting the call through to the outside.

The locks are valid for all the telephone carriers programmed as described below. In basic programming conditions no prefix is locked.
