hoW to Use yoUr aUtomatiC Gate operator before using your automatic Gate always look to see if there is any person, pet or other obstruction (ie.Parked vehicle) in the path of the gate. always wait for the gate to fully open before driving or walking through.

hoW the Controls Work Button A will open the gate and then after a preset time (30 seconds unless changed) the gate will close automatically. Button B will open the gate and hold it open until Button B is clicked again. Buttons C and D are spares and can be programmed to either open a garage door fitted with an e-Gate receiver unit or open the gate part way to allow pedestrian access.

maintenanCe For Battery operated versions the battery should be replaced every 5 years or sooner if it has ever been run flat. The operator uses a 12V 7Ah Gel Battery that is commonly used in alarm systems and general purpose. They can be purchased from Grant’s Automation or most Automotive parts suppliers, alarm suppliers, electronic and battery shops.

troUble shootinG operator not working at all - check power cord is plugged in and switched ON. Check fuse or circuit breaker for the gate is ON. For Battery versions if the power has been turned OFF and the battery has run flat the power must be turned ON and the operator left to charge over night before it is used.
