Do not use Silicon glue. The Marquee EX unit is installed by using an “X”-shaped adaptor bracket (A) that is secured to the pole with a pole mounting bracket (B), and a pole clamp (C). Figure 2.6 shows the hardware provided to mount the Marquee EX unit.
