    This prevents both personal injury and damage to the external motor. Miele cannot be held liable for damage caused by non-compliance with these instructions. Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on to any future owner.

     Unauthorised installation, maintenance and repairs can cause considerable danger for the user. Installation, maintenance and repairs must only be carried out by a Miele authorised technician.  A damaged external motor could be dangerous. Check the appliance for visible signs of damage. Do not use the external motor if it is damaged.

    Installation  Make a  185 mm hole in the wall.  Connect the 3 mountings through the fixing holes in the motor unit bracket as illustrated.  Push the telescopic wall pipe into the hole so that it is sitting flush. The telescopic wall pipe will make it easier to feed the control cable and the flexible ducting through later on.
