    6. MEASURING CONSIDERATION FOR Meg OHM TESTING 1) The amount of time during which the test voltage applied will also affect the reading. With good insulation, the measured value of insulation resistance will slowly increase is applied typically. This is due to dielectric absorption effect of the applied DC voltage on the bulk insulation resistance.
