To replace the 12V battery in a Think City, follow these steps:
1. Use a battery similar to the original, such as a VARTA B18 (44Ah, 440 CCA), or an equivalent US-made battery with similar specifications. 2. Ensure the replacement battery is from a sealed and unopened container. 3. Turn off the vehicle and disconnect the old battery, starting with the negative terminal. 4. Remove the old battery carefully. Avoid contact with battery acid, which contains sulfuric acid and can harm skin, eyes, and clothing. 5. Install the new battery and connect the terminals (positive first, then negative). 6. Ensure proper ventilation, as the battery can emit flammable gases. 7. Charge the battery if needed using an external battery charger.
Dispose of the old battery at an approved recycling center.
