- Page 4 DRT510 Operation Manual PAGE 4 Setting a rivnut. 1. Wind a rivnut onto the mandrel until it comes into contact with the nose tip. If the tool is setup correctly, you should see 1 mandrel thread protruding from the end of the rivnut.
