This Quickstart Guide aims to get you up and running quickly whilst also giving you a brief tour of the major sections of the software.

    Simply press Enter to finish and close the virtual keyboard. LOGGING IN When you first start the Wavestore Topaz, you will be presented with the choice of two buttons, Quit in the top-right corner, and Login in the bottom-right corner. Click Login with the left mouse button to open the login dialogue box.

Normally this means selecting HTTP from the Type drop-down box and the camera make from the Camera drop-down box. The only exceptions to this are that for Mobotix cameras you can choose MxPEG from the Type menu and for Arecont cameras you can choose the Arecont type.

  • Page 9 Status Indicator The status indicator shows the current status of the Wavestore Topaz, as well as the current license level. If a problem has occurred such as the disks are full or the machine is unlicensed, the status indicator will change into an icon representing that fault.
