Page 4: Using The Pop-Up Virtual Keyboard
Simply press Enter to finish and close the virtual keyboard. LOGGING IN When you first start the Wavestore Topaz, you will be presented with the choice of two buttons, Quit in the top-right corner, and Login in the bottom-right corner. Click Login with the left mouse button to open the login dialogue box. -

The login dialog box has 3 text boxes. The top one is labelled server. In here, you should type localhost although your Wavestore Topaz should have this in the box already. Now enter the username and password as specified above. Finally click Ok to login at which point you should see... - Page 6 Once it has been proven that the Wavestore Topaz can ping the camera, it is time to select the desired model. Normally this means selecting HTTP from the Type drop-down box and the camera make from the Camera drop-down box. The only exceptions to this are that for Mobotix cameras you can choose MxPEG from the Type menu and for Arecont cameras you can choose the Arecont type.

Setup | Display screen are saved for the currently logged in operator only. Activity The activity button is for analogue cameras only and so does not function in the Wavestore Topaz. If a problem has occurred such as the disks are full or the machine is unlicensed, the status indicator will change into an icon representing that fault.
