    Important information for the Technician Important information for the Technician Safety precautions The boiler/heater and related accessories are state of the art and meet all applicable safety regulations. Your boiler/heater and all accessories operate using 110–120 V AC electric current. Improper installation or repair can pose a threat of life-threatening electric shock.

    Important information for the Technician Flue A properly dimensioned flue is required for the optimal and safe function of the device. The design of the whole flue system needs to meet local building codes. All components used neet to meet UL 2523 / UL 103.

To access the measurement opening, remove the back lid and the plug at the flue gas collar. Measure the draft with an appropriate analyzer.     For the Installer 2.3 Combustion air An adequate supply of combustion air is absolutely essential. The combustion air must be free from pollutants (gases, vapors and dusts), otherwise malfunctions and increased wear (e.g., corrosion) may occur. Malfunctions or other issues caused by inadequate combustion air are not covered INFORMATION by the warrantee.

    Alpha Series components are exposed to moisture. All installation work must be performed by Pellergy trained personnel only! All installation work must be done according to local building codes! The illustration below shows a basic system setup, without any safety devices.

The size of the storage room depends on the building heating load.     For the Electrician For the Electrician Electrical connections The boiler/heater and related accessories are designed to be installed only in dry areas (protection type IP 10). Installation of electrical components may only be performed by a qualified technician. The regulations and speci- fications of ÖVE, VDI, SEV and local ordinances must be followed.

No heating pump can consume energy from Alpha Series without an anti-corrosion function. Failure to take anti-cor- rosion measures can result in serious equipment damage.
