    4. Usage Method: 1. Please make sure the cleanness of the optical glass inside the probe. You can use a cotton swap to clean the optical glass; if moistened with alcohol, waiting and restarting after 5 minutes, otherwise the result of measurement will be too low. If the ear temperature is over 38.0 ,it is fever.
  • Page 6 Children under 1 year: Pull the ear Children aged 1 year to adult: Pull straight back. the ear up and back. While tugging the ear, fit the probe snugly into the ear canal as far as possible and press the measurement button. Release it,when you hear the Beep.
  • Page 7 LCT-210 has forehead function and is better for checking many persons. We suggest that using the forehead function to check temperature at first ( aim at forehead at a distance about 1 cm-really do not touch the skin). If the person's forehead temperature is higher than 37 , then switch to ear function to double check his temperature.
