- Page 4 OPERATION: This appliance is designed for use with 1 x PP3 battery. If the power starts to weaken or becomes less effective it will be necessary to replace the battery for a new one. HOW TO USE YOUR ELEVATE After inserting the 1 x PP3 battery into Handset 1, close the battery cover. On the 2nd handset, press the On/Off button down and the LCD will switch On.
