Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass der Benutzer dieses Minischleifers die vorliegende Betriebs a nleitung vor der ersten Inbetrieb n ahme gründlich durchgelesen und verstanden hat. 1. Allgemeine Informationen • Zum bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch des Minischleifers gehört die vollständige Beachtung aller Sicherheitshinweise und Informationen in dieser Betriebs a nleitung. • Bewahren Sie deshalb diese Betriebs a nleitung immer bei Ihrem Minischleifer auf. • Dieser Minischleifer wurde für bestimmte An w endungen entwickelt.     • Der Minischleifer dient zum präzisen fräsen, polieren und schleifen diverser Materialien. • Jede über die bestimmungsgemäße Verwen d ung hinausgehende und/oder andersartige Verwendung des Geräts ist untersagt und gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. • Ansprüche jeglicher Art gegen den Hersteller und/oder seine Bevollmächtigten wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung des Geräts sind ausgeschlossen. • Für alle Schäden bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung haftet allein der Betreiber. 4.     3 Aufbau und Funktion 3. Anwendung • Der Minischleifer ViGOR 1720 zeichnet sich durch seine lange Laufzeit aus. Laden des Akkus Laden Sie den Akku vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme. • Im Gegensatz zu Ni-Ca oder MH Akkus haben Lithium Ionen Akkus keinen Memory-Effekt. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Akkus, sinkt die abgegebene Leistung nicht kontinuierlich ab, sondern bleibt konstant, bis die Elektronik, die Entladung abbricht. Das Gerät bleibt abrupt stehen, wenn der Akku ein gewisses Ladeniveau unterschreitet. • Der Akku kann unabhängig vom Ladezustand jederzeit geladen werden, ohne die Zellen zu schädigen. • Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel des Akkuladegerätes mit einer Netzsteckdose. Die Ladekontrollanzeige (7) leuchtet auf. • Setzen Sie das Gerät in den Ladeschacht des Ladegerätes nur wie in der Abbildung gezeigt. Ein verkehrtes Einsetzen kann das Gerät beschädigen. • Das Ladegerät schaltet nach Beendigung des Ladevorganges in ca. 2 – 3 Stunden automa- tisch ab. Die Ladekontrollanzeige leuchtet grün, wenn der Akku vollständig geladen wurde. Ein- und Ausschalten • Zum Einschalten, drehen Sie den EIN/AUS-Drehschalter (2) in Richtung 5 und zum Ausschalten in Richtung 1. Sie können die Geschwindigkeitsstufen einstellen. • Je weiter Sie den Drehschalter in Richtung 5 drehen, desto höher ist die Drehzahl. Die Drehzahl kann von 2.000 – 18.000 U/min. eingestellt werden. • Die eingebaute Lampe (5) leuchtet auf, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.

General Information • For effective use of the mini grinder as intended, it is essential that all safety and other infor- mation in these operating instructions is adhered to. • For this reason, always keep these operating instructions together with your ViGOR Mini Grinder. • This mini grinder has been designed exclusively for specific applications. ViGOR emphasizes that any modification to the mini grinder and/or use on an application not detailed to its intended application are strictly forbidden. • ViGOR will not be liable for any injuries to persons or damage to property originating from improper application, misuse of the mini grinder or a disregard of the safety instructions. • Furthermore, the general safety regulations and regulations for the prevention of accidents valid for the application area of this mini grinder must be observed and respected.

    Operational reliability can only be ensured, if the mini grinder is used as intended and in com- pliance with the indications given in the operating instructions. Always ensure the tool used, inspected and maintained in com p liance with the respective local, state, national or federal regu l ations • The ViGOR Mini Grinder is intended for precise drilling, polishing, grinding of various materials. • Any deviation from the intended use and/or any misapplication of the mini grinder is not allowed and will be considered as improper use. • Any claims against the manufacturer and/or its authorized agents because of damage caused by improper use of the mini grinder will be void.

    • Full functional efficiency is given when the mini grinder does not present any damage. • Recharge the mini grinder only with the provided charger. Only plug the battery charger to 230V mains power. Failure to observe this instruction may lead to personal injury. • Protect the battery charger from humidity. Do not operate the battery charger outdoors. • When not in use and before cleaning and servicing, disconnect the battery charger from the power supply. • Take special care of the mini grinder. Avoid dropping it onto any hard surface and do not subject it to pressure or any other form of mechanical stress. Keep the unit away from extreme heat and cold. • Do not open or attempt to repair the unit or the battery charger. • Any service or repair work must be carried out by qualified personnel only. In order to guar- antee long term operational safety, only original spare parts must be used. • For safety reasons any modification of the ViGOR Mini Grinder is strictly forbidden. Any modi- fication of the mini grinder will result in immediate exclusion from warranty and liability. 7.     3 Design and Function 3. Application • The ViGOR Mini Grinder is characterized by its long runtime. Battery charging Charge the battery before first use. • In contrast to Ni-Ca or MH batteries, Lithium-ion batteries do not have a memory effect. The capacity of other batteries decreases steadily but the capacity of lithium-ion batteries remains constant until the electronics interrupts discharging. The mini grinder will stop abrupt- ly, if the charging level of the battery falls below a certain value. • Regardless of the charging condition, the battery can be charged at any time without damaging the cells. • Connect the battery charger with the mains lead to the power socket. The charge indica- tor (7) lights up. • 2. Insert the grinder into the battery charger only as shown in the figure. If you insert the mini grinder in a wrong way, you might damage the unit. • The battery charger will automatically switch off after approx. 2 – 3 hours. The charge indi- cator lights up green if the battery is fully charged. turning On and OFF • To switch the mini grinder on, turn the ON/OFF rotary switch (2) in direction to the number 5 and to switch off turn in direction to 1. Use the switch to regulate the rotational speed. • The more you turn the rotary switch in direction to 5 the higher is the speed. The speed may be adjusted from 2.000 to 18.000 rpm. • The built-in lamp (5) lights up if the mini grinder is turned on.
