    1. System profile Before installation and operation, please carefully read this manual, so as to ensure proper installation and usage. Please keep this manual properly for future reference. The colours of products and locations of parts described in the manual may differ from those of the physical products. HC hospital nursing intercom system has benefits such as simple operation, convenient application and reliable running.
  • Page 3: Technical Specifications

    Four mainframes can be connected in parallel to realize multi-level management. The HC-30 mainframe can be connected to 30 extensions at most, while the HC-60 mainframe can be connected to 60 extensions at most.
  • Page 4 Connecting wires to the mainframe Alloy panel numerically controlled processing is employed, with smart and elegant appearance. Cooperate with HC-60 (or HC-30) mainframe, and the LED is able to display 1-60 (or 1-30) channels of extension calls, voice announcements and melody prompt.
  • Page 5 4. Waterproof switch (HB-1) It is generally installed in the toilet of the ward for alarm when there is an emergency of patients in the toilet. Two alarm modes are available, namely, pulling cord and pressing key. Water balls and fog in the toilet shall be prevented, so as to ensure the normal use of the switch.

    7. Door lamp Generally installed outside the ward to facilitate nurses in the corridor in observing. When the bed calls the nurse station, the door lamp of the ward will blink. When the ward bed releases the call or when the nurses talks with the patient, the door lamp outside the ward will go out.

    System installation 1. Extension coding (take one extension as an example) Preparation for extension online coding: Connect one pair of white and black wires on the extension or the waterproof switch respectively onto the two-core bus corresponding to 1 and COM terminals of the mainframe. For the specific wiring, please refer to the 'Wiring mode for extensions, waterproof switches and mainframes' of article 2 below (for details, please refer to P6).

Corridor display and mainframe connection Power source Corridor display Mainframe rear diagram There are two groups of wires for the corridor display, one group is for power cord (+12V and COM), while the other group is for data signal and power control cord (A, B and Ctr). Respectively connect +12V and COM on the display to the negative and positive poles of the DC12V500mA power supply.
  • Page 10 9. Mainframe alarm output, audio input and record output 1. Connect alarm flashlight and speaker onto the ALM and COM connecting terminals at the rear of the mainframe. In case of the extension calling the mainframe, the alarm indicator light blinks, and the speaker will flash and give an alarm.

    System setup This device has done the following setup before delivery. 1. Automatic running of system date and time, without requiring additional setup. 2. All nursing levels of extensions are set to 1. 3. The mainframe's level is 01, four panes of volume for the day, two panes for volume at night, and four panes for hands free talk volume.

First select the extension number to be set on the mainframe in order (namely, first select the extension routing switches of channels 1 and 3), then select the room number to be set (namely, then select the extension routing switches of channels 2, 10 and 4), at last, select the bed number to be set (namely, select the extension routing switches of channels 10 and 3).

At the time, the extension call indicator light turns red. At the same time, the corresponding routing indicator light of the mainframe turns red, the LCD displays the calling extension number and nursing level, and there is music prompt from the mainframe.

Mainframe To be free from system faults, avoid using the product in places with major humidity and temperature fluctuation, direct blow by cool and warm wind, and excessive dust.
