If you have an out-swinging gate, it is recommended that you reverse your hinges to create an in-swinging gate for added security.

The following instructions are for OUT-SWINGING gates. Instructions for IN-SWINGING gates are available at www.yardlock.ca.

Install latch assembly on gate interior

Insert latch arm into latch and position on gate.

Page 2 Drill hole for cable Mark the point where the catch meets the gate. Drill hole through gate. top view 38mm min. post g a t gate post 9,5 mm Drill at marked point from step 2A. Install spring and latch cover Push cable Mount latch cover (C) on through gate.
Page 3 Install Yardlock Unlock Yardlock with default combination: 0-0-0-0 Push cable through large hole in Yardlock. EXTERIOR 0-0-0-0 p o s g a t Mount Yardlock on gate with holes aligned. Secure cable. Loosen screws and push cable through screw posts.
Page 4 Set a new combination Remove rubber cover and move lever to learn position. lever learn position Close Yardlock and rotate Open Yardlock, move lever dials to desired combination. to original position, and install rubber cover. original position IMPORTANT: Write down and save your new combination in a safe place.
