    Die Kamera, der videoLink und der LCD-Monitor sind mit anderen Produkten von LUDA Elektronik kompatibel. Die Produkte der LUDA Elektronik senden auf einer offenen Frequenz und das Signal ist nicht verschlüsselt. Das bedeutet, dass das Signal von jedem 2.4 GHz-Empfänger in Kamerareichweite empfangen werden kann.

Kontrollieren Sie die Vollständigkeit des cowCam™-Paketes und dass die jeweilige Artikelnummer auf dem jeweiligen Produkt angegeben ist. Machen Sie sich mit den Produkten vertraut, indem sie die Kamera an das 12V-Netzteil und den LCD-Monitor an das 5V-Netzteil anschließen.     5. Bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen Lesen Sie die Anleitung oder die Schnellinstallationsanleitung, bevor Sie mit der Installation Ihres cowCam™-Paketes beginnen. Laden Sie zunächst den LCD-Monitor auf, da Sie ihn später benötigen. Der Akku ist bei der Lieferung nur teilweise geladen und der LCD-Monitor würde nur eine kurze Zeit funktionieren, sollte er nicht vorher geladen werden.

    6. Funktionsweise der cowCam™ im Stall Barn Home Die Kamera filmt das Vieh und sendet das Signal über das Kabel an die A300-Antenne an der Außenseite des Stalls. Die A300-Antenne an der Stallwand sendet das Signal an die A300-Empfängerantenne. Der videoLink empfängt das Signal der A300-Empfängerantenne für eine bessere Bildqualität und sendet es im Haus an den LCD-Monitor weiter.

Montage der Kamera im Stall Das mitgelieferte Antennenkabel erlaubt es Ihnen, die Kamera in einem Umkreis von 25 m von der A300-Sendeantenne (10dBi) und 12 m von einer 220V-Steckdose zu platzieren. (Sowohl das Strom- als auch das Antennenkabel können verlängert werden, siehe Information unten.) Die Kamera ist an einem höher gelegenen Ort so zu montieren, dass sie auf den Ort ausgerichtet ist, den Sie überwachen möchten (z.B.

Montage der A300-Sendeantenne Um eine maximale Reichweite zu erlangen, montieren Sie die A300-Sende- und die A300- Empfängerantenne so an der Außenseite des Stalls bzw. an der Hauswand, dass sie aufeinander ausgerichtet sind. Um die A300-Sendeantenne (10dBi) an die Kamera anzuschließen, schalten Sie den Strom ab und biegen die Kamera nach vorne.

Kontrolle des Signalempfangs Bei diesem Abschnitt des Installationsvorgangs ist es von Vorteil, wenn er von zwei Personen durchgeführt wird, um so eine leichtere Kontrolle des Signalempfangs zu erhalten. Während eine Person die Antennenposition verändert, kontrolliert die andere die Bildqualität. Schließen Sie die Kamera mit dem mitgelieferten 12V-Netzteil an eine 220V-Steckdose an.

    10. Montage der A300-Empfängerantenne Die A300-Empfängerantenne wird an die Hausaußenseite montiert, sodass sie auf die A300-Sendeantenne ausgerichtet ist.     13. Schritt für Schritt-Fehlersuche bei der Stallüberwachung Dieses Kapitel behandelt mögliche Fehler, die bei der Installation der Produkte auftreten können. Folgen Sie dem Schema systematisch um Fehler in der Installation ausfindig machen zu können. Fehlersuche beim LCD-Monitor Der LCD-Monitor ist funktionstüchtig, sobald beim Starten ein schwarz-weißes flimmerndes Bild zu sehen ist.
  • Page 20 Fehlersuche der Kamera mit der 2dBi-Antenne Es gibt zwei Gründe, warum die Kamera kein Signal sendet. Die Kamera erhält keinen Strom und funktioniert deswegen nicht oder die Kamera ist stromversorgt und sendet ein Signal, das der LCD- Monitor aufgrund von Hindernissen, Störungen, falscher Kanalwahl usw. nicht empfängt. Sofern die Kamera korrekt an die Stromquelle angeschlossen ist, leuchten die infraroten Dioden um die Kameralinse schwach rot, was im Dunkeln am besten sichtbar ist.

    We hope that the cowCam™-solution will satisfy your needs and will exceed your expectations. The products of LUDA Elektronik AB operate on the 2,4 GHz frequency and has a standard range of 100 meters at a clear line of sight. Due to the A300 directional antennas the range will increase to 800 meters at a clear line of sight without increasing the transmitting effect of the camera.

    5. Before you start the installation Read the users guide and the quick install guide before you start installing your cowCam™- solution. Start with charging your LCD-monitor since you will need to use it later on in the installation process. The battery is only partially charged at delivery and the LCD-monitor will therefore only function for a short while if it is not charged.

Installing the transmitting A300-antenna In order to send the picture of the camera wirelessly with longest possible range, the transmitting and receiving A300-antennas have to be placed on the outer walls of the barn and home, pointing towards each other. To attach the transmitting A300-antenna (10dBi) to the camera, unplug the power and bend the camera forward.

    9. Testing the signal reception In this part of the installation process it is practical if you are two persons, so that you can help each other for an easier testing of the signal reception. One person adjusts the antenna while the other inspects the picture quality outside your house.

    10. Setting up the receiving A300-antenna The receiving A300-antenna shall be placed on an outer wall of your home that is facing the barn, and point towards the transmitting A300-antenna. The 5 m antenna cable will connect the antenna with the videoLink indoor.

    11. Setting up the videoLink The videoLink receives the camera signal through the receiving A300-antenna. It then resends the signal indoor on a different channel using the black antenna (2dBi). The indoor range varies between 20 to 30m depending of wall thickness and number of walls. Attach the 5 m antenna cable that you previously connected to the receiving A300-antenna to the receiving part of the videoLink.

    13. Troubleshooting the barn supervision The purpose of this chapter is to systematically go through all possible errors that might have occurred during the installation. Follow the scheme below to locate the problem in your installation. Troubleshooting the LCD-monitor The LCD-monitor is considered working if an unstable or noisy black and white picture is shown when it is switched on.
