transposer
The Transposer function is used to raise or lower the 'key' of the entire keyboard by intervals of one semitone for an overall
range of +/- 24 semitones.
This function makes it easier to play with difficult tonalities and makes it possible to adapt the song to the vocal extension of
the singer. This function makes it easier to play in difficult 'keys' and makes it possible to adapt the song to the vocal range of

pitch
Pitch Control adjusts the tuning of GP1 by +/- 100 cents steps.
This function is useful for tuning GP1 with other instruments or with previously recorded music such as an MP3 or CD Player
or when playing with other instruments.
Here is how to modify Pitch on GP1:
• Press the Pitch/Transposer +/- buttons together (led will start flashing).

Pitch value remains stored in memory until the GP1 is turned Off.
eFX
GP1 features a new EFX section with Insert mode.
38
GP1
This allows you to apply your own EFX to any Voice by using a 16 way switch. Some of these 16 Insert effects are already
included on selected Voices (automatically recalled when Gp1 is turned on). The EFX can be temporally bypassed with 0 (zero)
position or insert a new one by using a 16 way switch. The EFX Value slider controls the Insert EFX amount on any selected
Voice.
The GP1 does not store the Insert EFX used.
The complete Insert EFX list is shown on the bottom of this manual.
Mode
With this button the User can override the factory EFX (effects) and insert their own:
• When the MODE key is OFF (LED off), factory effects are assigned where applicable (for example REAL MARK).
S electing the MODE key incrementally changes the effect from factory setting to one of 16 User effects. To activate these effects
press the MODE button again until the required effect is selected (16 in total). To restore the factory effect, simply press the
original sound.
• If the MODE button is set to ON (LED on) any of the 16 user effects are temporarily applied to any selected VOICE. For
example if Flanger 2 effect is selected and the MODE LED is ON, all VOICES will be routed through the Flanger 2 effect.
(note: It is not possible to permanently overwrite the original factory effects).
• Also with MODE ON (LED on), setting effect to 0 (zero) all VOICES will be "Dry" (no effects applied).
