SHIELD Tablet User Guide
1. Go to Settings > Personal > Language & Input.
2. Under Keyboard & Input Methods, tap the Google Voice Typing slider
3. Tap Offline Speech Recognition.
4. Tap All. The list of supported languages opens.
5. Tap a language.
6. At the prompt, tap Download. The device downloads and installs the correct
language dictionary.

System Bar Status Icons

The System bar shows information about wireless connection status, battery level, and
whether Bluetooth is on. The System bar shows on Home screen pages.
Bluetooth. This icon shows when Bluetooth is on, even if your
device is not paired with a Bluetooth accessory.
Alarm. This icon shows when an alarm is set in the default clock
app.
Wi-Fi. This icon shows when your device is connected to a wireless
network. The number of bars indicates the Wi-Fi signal strength.
