Steam mop powers in & heats but I don’t hear the “pumping” sound & no steam comes out

Hi I just got my sparkle steam mop and it was working just fine , then all of the sudden , it has started having issues . It will turn on , but when I go push the button it shuts off , or when using it off the base , the button on machine will turn it off when I go to use it . Plz help me I just got it and love it but want it to work .
