De generatorset is voorzien van een opvoerpomp; de tank kan dus laag
geplaatst worden; maximale aanzuig hoogte 1,50 meter.
De brandstofleidingen (zowel aanvoer­ als retourleiding) kunnen worden
uitgevoerd in koperen leiding, 8 mm uitwendig. De brandstofleidingen
kunnen aan de flexibele brandstofslangen (8 mm aansluiting) op de fun­
datie van de generatorset worden gekoppeld.
Als de generatorset hoger dan de brandstoftank is opgesteld verdient het
aanbeveling om de brandstofretourleiding tot op ca. 1 cm boven de bo­
dem van de tank brengen; mogelijk hevelen bij stilstaande generatorset
wordt hiermee voorkomen.
Andere verbruikers van dieselolie, zoals verwarmingstoestellen moeten
op een aparte zuig­ en retourleiding aangesloten worden.
The generator set itself is equipped with a fuel lift pump; therefore the tank
can be installed at a lower level than the generator set. The maximum suc­
tion height is 1.50 m (5 It).
The fuel lines (both supply­ and return line) should be copper, tubing 8
mm outer diameter. The fuel lines can be plumbed to the flexible hoses
mounted at the bed of the generator set.
If the generator set is positioned at a higher level than the tank it is recom­
mended to run the fuel return line to approx. 1 cm (3/8") from the bottom
of the tank so to prevent possible syphoning when the generator set is
not running.
Other consumers of diesel fuel, such as a heaters, have to be connected
to separate suction and return pipes.
