the shutter+peed/function selector so that the
" A "
i s o n t h e s i d e h a v i n g p l u s ( + ) n u m b e r s t o
p r o d u c e m o r e e x p o s u r e o r o n t h e s i d e h a v i n g
m i n u s ( - ) n u m b e r s t o p r o d u c e l e s s e x p o s u r e .
T h e n u m b e r s i n d i c a t e t h e a m o u n t o f a d l u s t -
m e n t i n s t o p s o r E V s t e p s l i . e . , " + " i n d i c a t e s
o n e m o r e s t o p o r d o u b l e t h e n o r m a l a u t o m a t i c
exposure, and "+2" means two stops or four
t i m e s m o r e e x p o s u r e : " - 1 "
i s o n e s t o p l e s s o r

T h e X G ' s a u t o m a t i c e x p o s u r e s y s t e m w i l l
not operate when the "A"
on the shutter-
speed/function selector is moved outside the
range of exposure adiustment.
