STANDBY/ON
PHONES DIGITAL IN
1 PHONES jack
When headphones are connected there is no sound
output from the speakers.
2 STANDBY/ON button
Press to switch the receiver on or into standby.
3 FRONT INPUT jacks (page 13)
Use to connect an audio/video component.
4 AV DIRECT indicator (page 33)
Lights in standby when the receiver is passing an audio/
video signal from one SCART AV connector to another.

2 DIGITAL indicator
Lights when the current source is Dolby Digital.
DTS indicator
Lights when the current source is DTS.
6 Listening mode indicators
STEREO indicator (page 23)
Lights when the source is stereo and/or the listening
mode has been set to STEREO.
2 PRO LOGIC II indicator (page 23)
Lights when one of the Dolby Pro Logic II surround
modes is active with a 2 channel (stereo) source.
ADVANCED indicator (page 24)
Lights when one of the Advanced Surround modes is
active.
PHONES indicator (page 23)
Lights when phones surround mode is active.
SOUND MODE indicator (page 24)
Lights when one of the Sound Modes is active.
