1. Slide off the battery compartment door in the direction
of the arrow, located above the raised bumps at the
top rear of the unit.
2. Place two fresh (AAA) batteries in the battery
compartment with the flat/negative (-) end of each
battery towards the spring. If batteries are inserted
correctly the unit will beep 4 times.
3. Replace the battery compartment door.
4. It is recommended that the batteries be removed if the
unit is not going to be used for a long period of time.
Notes:
1. If the thermometer does not work after installing the
batteries, try removing and re-installing them, or use
new batteries.
2. If voice announcements sound weak or the display
dims, replace the batteries.
