  • Page 3 Dementia individuals in the care center environment. The Pendant (Panic button) is one of the many unique elements of this system. The Pendant is a small, lightweight push button unit worn by the monitored individual that alerts caregivers whenever the monitored individual activates a panic alert.
  • Page 4 Press the panic button. The LED indicator flashes indicating that the Pendant is in panic alert mode. Once in panic alert mode, the Pendant sends a panic alert message to the monitoring station. This message is sent until the panic alert is deactivated.

    Holding the strap or leash, spray the Pendant (Panic Button) with cleaning solution of choice (see above). Using a piece of cloth or a paper towel, dry the outer side of the Pendant. Lay the Pendant o n the towel with its inner side facing up. Using a soft brush or another piece of cloth/towel gently scrub the inner side of the Pendant.
