I have a wc600cl which has been unplugged for a couple of years. I plugged it in and the temp read 73 with the red highlighted. I move the arrow down button to 58 and 58 flashes for a few seconds and then goes back to 73 and does not move even after 24 hours. Is there a set button or something I need to press to set?? Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

To set the temperature on an Avanti WC600CL after it has been unplugged for a couple of years:
1. Place the unit in a location with an ambient temperature between 41°F and 78°F.
2. After moving the unit, wait at least 30 minutes before plugging it in to allow the internal refrigerant to settle.
3. Press the temperature adjustment buttons (© or ©) to view the current setting.
4. Use the buttons to increase or decrease the temperature by 1°F or 1°C per press.
5. Set the temperature based on the type of wine stored:
- Red wine: 60–65°F (LED “RED” lights red)
- White wine: 50–59°F (LED “WHITE” lights green)
- Sparkling wine: 45–49°F (LED “SPARKLING” lights amber)
If the temperature is still not adjusting, confirm the unit is in a proper environment and the control panel is responding.
