4. Hypertension-Management-Software Client-Server ®
The ECG is recorded and saved upon pressing the button. After each recording the
ECG can, depending on the settings, be transmitted telemetrically to the physician
and/or be analyzed in the practice. The HMS CS (from Version 3.0) configures the
recorder, manages the patient data and displays the ECG recordings.
The patient file contains important data as:
■ Personal patient number (patient ID, mandatory field)
■ Name (mandatory field)
■ Address, Phone
■ Personal data (age, sex tec.)
■ Medication, medical history, emergency contacts
The HMS CS program offers different options for the analysis of the ECG:
■ you can display the ECG recordings on your screen.
■ Set filter and zoom, see 4.10.1
■ Show and hide conductions, see 4.10.2
■ measuring of ECG using the mouse pointer, see 4.10.3
■ Add comments, see 4.10.4
■ Print ECG, see 4.10.5
In addition to the ECG Loop-/Event Recorder Beam
to connect an e-health service (Telemedicine) also for further devices by I.E.M.,
offering a significantly higher security for the patient and an additional facility for
the physician at the same time.
In addition to other products, the following are available: Blood pressure monitoring
with the Ambulant Blood-Pressure Monitor-System, Mobil-O-Graph NG
arm measuring device, Stabil-O-Graph mobil
e-health scale Libr-O-Graph
You can set thresholds and define alarms and will only be alerted if one of the limits
set by you are exceeded (e.g. via fax) or upon incoming ECG events.
For all devices the data can be synchronised and managed online with the HMS
CS, in addition to an online database.

4.1 Working with HMS CS

For the operation of the HMS CS program we assume basic knowledge
and experience with the Windows OS
Using the HMS CS program you can manage your ECG recordings. These ECG
recordings will be assigned to the patient. For each patient any number of recor-
dings can be saved.
