Assembly
1) Locate a flat, dry area with access to electrical outlet or extension cord.
IMPORTANT: Because of the size of the Runway, and the fact that it often
attaches to other Aquapark items, careful thought must be given to the setup
area. The best setup position will also make launching easy, so ideally the
Runway tube should be carefully carried into position at the water's edge.
NOTE: Dragging or sliding the Runway over ground either before or after
inflation can cause damage.
2) Once in the setup/ launch position, unroll the Runway in position and locate
the valve. If the Runway is to be attached to another Aquapark item, we
suggest attaching with the Runway deflated. Attach using the 5 Interloc straps
(provided) and as many Interloc rings as are available on your item (5 rings
ideally, MINIMUM 2 rings). See the Interloc instructions below for details.
3) Once attached, inflate the Runway to 2.5 psi. (0,172 bar). Check for proper
air pressure using a manometer. As with any inflatable, take caution on the
inflation pressure and do not over inflate.
WARNING: Do not use an air compressor to inflate tube. Air compressors
are designed for high pressure inflation and can cause damage to the product
if over-inflated.
NOTE: It is also possible to attach the Runway after launch. In this case,
inflate the platform and have a swimmer attach from the water. Follow the
Interloc strap instructions below.
4) To launch the product, make sure to have at least 4 people evenly spaced
around the product to help carry it. NEVER DRAG THE RUNWAY!
YOU MUST LIFT AND SET TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENTAL
TEARING ON SHARP OBJECTS.
The Runway can be used as a stand-alone platform or as an accessory and
sliding/ walking feature for your Aquapark.
Anchoring
IMPORTANT: Proper anchoring is essential to the safety and performance of
your product. Due to the wide variety of conditions, we advise using a profes-
sional skilled in mooring and anchoring, and experienced with local conditions.
If improperly anchored, the product can move and/or float away. Aquaglide,
Inc. is not responsible for any damage, injuries or losses due to improper
anchoring.
Here are some general guidelines for anchoring your product. These guidelines
are not intended to replace the need for professional installation.
1) Choose your location for your Runway. Place the product in at least 8 ft.
(2,44m) of water depth and in an area protected from the wind and boat traffic.
Review your lake rules and restrictions with your local authorities.
2) Carefully check area under the product for sharp or dangerous objects (i.e.
rocks or stumps).
3) Keep a safe distance from docks, boats, boat lifts, and any other structures.
4) Anchors and anchor line are sold separately from the Runway. We recommend
at least 80 lbs. of weight for the Runway. Heavier anchors (200 lbs. or more)
should be used with Aquaparks or on large, windy bodies of water.
5) If the Runway is being used as a stand alone item, securely connect the anchor
