STARTING THE ENGINE
KOBRA 3G

PORTA 3G
1.
Insert the key and rotate
clockwise*
2.
Open the
fuel
tap
(See
Fig 2)
.
3.
Rotate (open) the throttle
(1)
to about 1/3rd.
4.
Ensure that the
vehicle
is in
neutral
5. Start the vehicle by kicking the kick pedal.
6.
For changing gears depress the
clutch
lever (2)
and rotate the gear twist grip (3) upwards for 1st
gear
and downwards for 2nd and 3rd
gears.
7.
Note
that
while changing gears the throttle is
closed
8.
For
cold starting the
choke
lever (Fig 3A) may be
used.
Ensure
to release
the choke lever after the
engine has started.
*
Ignition lock is available only in KOBRA 3G
