Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized Avanti Products service center. This appliance should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock. -

The LED indicator on the upper display will flash. Then press the UP or DOWN buttons to get the desired temperature. When you press the SET button again, the LED indicator on the lower display will flash. Then proceed to press the UP or DOWN buttons to get the desired temperature in the lower section. The temperature that you desire to set will increase 1ºF or 1ºC if you push the UP button once, on the contrary the temperature will decrease 1ºF or 1ºC if you push the DOWN button once. -
