  • Page 8 USING THE APPLIANCE PlasBc Chopping Blade: Assembly: 1. Assemble rod into the base of the unit. 2. Place the bowl in the unlock posiKon using the lock symbol on the bowl as a guide and twist clockwise to the lock posiKon. 3. Place the holder inside the bowl on the rod then place chopping blade inside the bowl on top of the holder. See image below. 4. Put ingredients inside of the bowl and place the lid on top of the bowl then lock in place. 5. Place the food pusher inside of the feed tube. 6. Choose desired speed for ingredients and begin processing. If ingredients need to be added during processing, take out the food pusher and insert via the feed tube using the food pusher.

Place the bowl in the unlock posiKon using the lock symbol on the bowl as a guide and twist clockwise to the lock posiKon. 3. Place the stainless steel chopping blade and holder inside the bowl on the rod. Note: The holder is already assembled on the stainless steel chopping blade, see below image. 4. Put ingredients inside of the bowl and place the lid on top of the bowl then lock in place. 5. Place the food pusher inside of the feed tube. 6. Place the bowl in the unlock posiKon using the lock symbol on the bowl as a guide and twist clockwise to the lock posiKon. 3. Place the desired disc facing upward inside the bowl on top of the rod. Note: For the Shredding Disc it is top 1 and Slicing Disc Fine it is top 2. For Slicing Disc Thick it is top 1 and Shredding Disc thick it is top 2. The Grater and French Fry Disc only have one side and will say Top. 4. Place the lid on the bowl and begin inserKng food into the feed tube by using the food pusher. 5. Choose desired speed for ingredients and begin processing. Tips: The shredder disc works for cheese, carrots, and potatoes. Use the french fry julienne disc to make perfect french fries. The slicer sides are good for cheese, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, cucumber, zucchini, or onions. The shredder discs can be used for salads and garnishes. Note: Always put the disc in the bowl before you start to add ingredients. Do not use the machine for more than 3 minutes at a Kme. Pay close aVenKon to the capacity line, once the food approaches the max line on the container stop operaKon. Always use the food pusher, never put your hands in the feed tube.

Place ingredients inside the bowl then place lid on top and lock into place. 5. Choose desired speed for ingredients and begin mixing. Tips: Use for light mixtures such as egg whites, cream, evaporated milk, whisking eggs and sugar. Do not mix heavier mixtures such as cake baVer, pancake baVer, or cookie dough in the machine. For best performance, add 3-4 eggs at a Kme. Note: Do not use the machine for more than 5 minutes at a Kme.
  • Page 12 CLEANING Clean aIer every use. 1. Before cleaning unplug the unit. 2. Wash all parts with hot water and dish liquid. Rinse and dry thoroughly. 3. Wipe the external surface of the food processor with a soI damp cloth and dry surfaces with soI dry cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives as these may scratch the outside. 4. Once all parts are dry place into the storage box when not in use. Note: Never immerse the food processor housing in water. STORAGE BOX Place all aVachments inside the storage box.     Apple Crisp Serves 4 3 ½ pounds apples - peeled, halved, and cores removed ¼ cup lemon juice 3 tablespoons lemon zest - divided into 1 tablespoon & 2 tablespoons ¾ cup granulated sugar ½ cup golden raisins 1 ½ sKcks buVer - cut into 1- inch pieces 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 1 ½ cups light brown sugar 1 ½ cups oats 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon ground cardamom Vegetable oil or cooking spray Preheat oven to 350˚ Assemble the food processor and aVach the slicing disc. Place the apple halves in the feed tube and process on speed 4, unKl all apples are sliced. Combine sliced apples, lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of zest, granulated sugar, and golden raisins in a bowl. Wipe the food processor to remove any apple residue and aVach the S blade. Place the buVer, flour, and the light brown sugar in the bowl of the food processor. Pulse several Kmes to create a crumble. Add the oats, 2 tablespoons of zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom and pulse 3 more Kmes to incorporate. Spray a 9 inch baking pan or a cast iron fry pan with oil or cooking spray. Spread the apple mixture on the boVom of the pan. Top with crumble mixture. Bake for 30 minutes or unKl apples are cooked and topping is brown. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Place all the ingredients in the bowl of the food processor and pulse 6 Kmes.

  • Page 22 Butter Bacon Burgers Serves 4 Oil - for brushing 2 pounds of lean stew meat 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 sKck cold buVer - cut into cubes 1 teaspoon garlic powder 4 hamburger buns split 4 slices bacon - cooked crisp LeVuce - for serving Red onion slices - for serving Tomato slices - for slices Ketchup - for serving Mayonnaise - for serving Grease the grill grate by brushing it with oil. Preheat the grill to medium. Assemble the food processor and fit it with the S blade. With the motor running, set on 5, drop the chunks of beef through the feed tube two at a Kme. Add the salt, pepper, and garlic powder and process for 1 minute. Open the food processor and sprinkle the meat with the chilled buVer cubes. Pulse the mixture 4-5 Kmes to incorporate buVer evenly. Do not over process you want to see small pieces of buVer in the burger mixture. Form the beef into 4 paaes 1 inch thick. Place on a baking sheet. Place the burgers on the grill, cover and cook, turning once, unKl the burgers reach the doneness you like. 7 – 9 minutes for medium rare. Just before the burgers are done, put the buns on toward the back of the grill to toast. Assemble with favorite toppings.

Place the cheddar cheese in the feed tube of the food processor. Turn the food processor to number 3, using the pusher, shred the block of cheese. Remove the shredding disc and fit the food processor with the S blade. Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor. With the food processor set to medium process for one minute or unKl well combined. Serve with warm pretzels.
  • Page 24 Eggplant Hummus Serves 12-14 1 large eggplant 1 head garlic 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for roasKng vegetables) 1 can (15oz) garbanzo beans - drained 2 teaspoons Tahini paste 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 8 fresh parsley leaves ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon kosher salt 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the top off the head of the garlic, and split the eggplant in two, lengthwise. Drizzle the head of garlic and eggplant with 2 tablespoons Oil. Place garlic clove upside down on baking sheet. Place the eggplant skin side up on baking sheet. Set a Kmer for 30 minutes. AIer the 30 minutes remove the garlic. ConKnue to cook the eggplant for an addiKonal hour, or unKl tender. Carefully remove the skin from the eggplant while sKll warm from the oven. Assemble the food processor with the S blade. Squeeze the roasted garlic out of the head into the food processor. Add the eggplant and all of the remaining ingredients. Close the lid. Press start. Set Food processor to dial to 4, for 2 minutes or unKl smooth. Serve with crudités, pita chips or crusty French bread.

Add all the ingredients to the food processor and pulse for 6 Kmes. With the food processor dial set on 4 process for 2 minutes unKl smooth. Serve at once on store in the freezer in an airKght container.

Assemble the food processor with the S blade. Add all the ingredients into the food processor bowl. Pulse for 6 Kmes. Turn the food processor dial to 5 and process for 1 minute. Don’t over mix, the sausage should be crumbly. This is delicious in pasta sauce or in a friVata.

Add all ingredients, except oil. Pulse 3 Kmes, then turn processor dial to 4. While processor is running, slowly drizzle oil into processor Kll all the oil is incorporated. Taste for addiKonal salt or sugar.
  • Page 29 Lady and Sons Salad Serves 4-6 ¾ cup mayonnaise 3 tablespoons sour cream ½ lemon - juice from ½ teaspoon Paula Deen Silly Salt 1 teaspoon garlic powder 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon buVermilk 8 ounces gorgonzola 4 cups wild greens salad mix ½ red onion, sliced 1 red pepper, sliced Walnuts for garnish Assemble the food processor and fit with the emulsion disc. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, silly salt, garlic powder, vinegar, and buVermilk to the food processor. Turn the food processor dial to 6 and process for 1-2 minutes. Remove the emulsion disc and crumble in the gorgonzola, sKr. In another bowl, mix together all the salad ingredients. Drizzle with dressing and top with walnuts.
  • Page 30 Lemonade Makes 1 gallon 8 large lemons - cut in half 2 cups sugar 2 cups hot water 1 gallon cold water 1 lemon sliced Sprig mint for garnish Assemble the food processor with the juicer aVachment. With food processor dial set to 4, press the lemon halves on to the juicer and remove all the pulp. In a gallon container dissolve the sugar with the hot water unKl the sugar dissolves. Add the lemon juice and the cold water to render 1 gallon, SKr well. Serve over ice with a squeeze of lemon slice on top. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

    Pasta Dough Serves 6 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 cup semolina flour 1 teaspoon kosher salt 3 large eggs 2 large yolks 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon water Assemble the food processor and fit with the metal S blade. Add the flours and salt to the food processor bowl with dial set to 3, process for 1 minute. With the motor running, add the eggs one at a Kme, then add the oil and water. ConKnue to process for another 30 seconds or Kll dough ball forms. Form the dough ball and rub with oil and place in a plasKc bag for at least 30 minutes. To make your favorite pasta such as ravioli or lasagna, roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface using a lightly floured rolling pin. Cut the dough into quarters and to roll the dough Kll you can almost see through it. Cut or mold into desired shape.
  • Page 32 Paula’ s Perfect Pie Crust Makes two 9- inch crusts 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour ¼ teaspoon fine salt 3 tablespoons granulated white sugar 1/4 cup vegetable shortening - cold 12 tablespoons buVer - cold and cubed ¼-1/2 cup ice water Assemble the food processor with the S blade. Add the flour, salt, shortening, and buVer to the food processor. Pulse the mixture unKl it resembles coarse cornmeal. Add a liVle ice water and turn the food processor on to low and conKnue slowly adding the ice water unKl a dough forms. Remove the dough to a lightly floured surface and roll into a dough. Divide the dough in half and flaVen it slightly to form a disk shape. Wrap each disc in plasKc and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. On a floured surface roll each disk out into a 10 inch circle to make a 9- inch pie.

    Pimento Cheese Makes 2½ cups 4 ounce block of Monterey Jack cheese 4 ounce sharp cheddar 1 small onion 4 ounces cream cheese 1/3 cup of mayonnaise 3 tablespoons pimentos ¼ teaspoon Paula Deen House Seasoning Freshly ground pepper to taste Kosher Salt to taste Assemble the food processor and fit it with the shredding disk. Place the Jack cheese in the feed tube of the food processor. Set the food processor dial to 5, using the pusher shred the cheese. Repeat with the cheddar cheese. Replace the shredding disk with the grater disk. Place the onion in the feed tube and with the food processor dial set on 3, grate the onion. Remove the disc and fit the food processor with the S blade. Add the remaining ingredients to the cheese in the food processor bowl. Turn the food processor dial to 4 and process for 1 minute or Kll the mixture is smooth and creamy. Serve with soda crackers or between two pieces of bread.

    Pizza Dough Makes 4: 7-inch crusts 1/3 cup lukewarm water (100 degrees) 1 package rapid-rise yeast 1 teaspoon honey 3 cups bread flour - divided in half ¾ cup water 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil Dissolve the yeast in 1/3 cup of lukewarm water and the honey. Cover with plasKc wrap and let ferment for one minute. Assemble the food processor with the S blade secured. Add 1½ cups of flour and the yeast mixture to the bowl of the food processor and secure the lid. Pulse 5 Kmes to incorporate. Open the food processor and add the remaining ingredients. Secure the lid. Set the food processor dial to 4, process for 4-5 minutes. You will have a nice dough ball. Lightly flour a cuang board. Place the dough ball on the cuang board and roll to make a perfect sphere. Place the dough ball in a greased bowl and cover with plasKc wrap. Let rest for at least 1 hour or unKl the dough has doubled in size. Punch down risen dough and cut into 4 equal pieces. Roll into balls and let them rise for at least another 20 minutes.
  • Page 35 Southern Tater Tots Serves 2 - 4 2 russet potatoes - peeled 1 egg - beaten 1 small onion ¼ cup all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper ½ teaspoon paprika ¼ teaspoon garlic powder ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper - ground Assemble the food processor with the small-holed julienne disc. Make sure the potatoes fit in the feed tube. Cut one end of each potato to sit flat against the disc. Place potato into the feed tube. Turn the food processor dial to 5; apply light pressure to the potatoes with the feed tube pusher to shred. Repeat with the remaining potato. Place shredded potatoes on paper towels and squeeze out all excess liquid. Fit the food processor with the S blade. Add the egg and onion to the bowl and pulse 6 Kmes. Add the flour, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. With the processor dial set to 3, process for 1 minute longer. Add the shredded potatoes and pulse 3 more Kmes to combine. Form the potato mixture into tots. Now the tater tots are ready for deep frying or air frying. If deep frying, heat oil to 350 degrees. Cook in batches of 8 for 5 minutes, turning the tots halfway through to evenly brown. If air frying, spray air fryer basket and tots with oil. Place 6-8 tots at a Kme in the basket. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through to evenly brown the tots.
  • Page 36 Spicy Basil Guacamole Makes 2½ cups 3 medium ripe avocados - halved, piVed, peeled, and chopped 1 clove garlic 1 medium tomato seeded 1 lime - juiced 1 lemon - juiced 2 green onions ¼ cup basil 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon kosher salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper - freshly ground Place the chopped avocados in a large bowl. Assemble the food processor with the S blade. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl of the food processor and pulse 6-8 Kmes to chop all the ingredients. Pour this mixture into the bowl with the avocados and mix well. Taste for addiKonal salt and pepper.
  • Page 37 Spicy Salsa Makes 2 cups 1 pint grape tomatoes 1 tomaKllo - peeled 1 serrano chili - seeds removed 2 garlic cloves 3 green onions 1 small bell pepper 1/2 canned tomatoes with green chilies 1/4 cup fresh cilantro 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil Assemble the food processor fiVed with the S blade. Place all the ingredients in the bowl of the food processor and pulse 5 Kmes. Turn the food processor to medium and process for 1 minute longer. Taste for addiKonal salt or pepper. Serve with warm torKlla chips.
  • Page 38 The Lady’ s Cole Slaw Serves 2-4 ½ head cabbage - cut into chunks and cored ½ large carrot - peeled 1/8 cup fresh parsley 1 green onion ½ bell pepper 2 tablespoons sugar ¼ teaspoon black pepper - coarsely ground ½ teaspoon Salt ½ cup mayonnaise (see recipe) ¼ teaspoon Lemon Pepper Seasoning 1 tablespoon white vinegar Assemble the food processor with the S blade secured. Place half of the cabbage, the carrot, parsley, green onion, and pepper into the food processor bowl. Pulse 4 Kmes. Then turn the food processor dial to 4, process for 1 minute. Be careful not to make the mixture mushy. Scrape into a large bowl. Fit the food processor with the thin slicing disc and add the remaining cabbage. Set the food processor dial to 4 and process. Add the sliced cabbage to the bowl with other vegetables. Fit the food processor with the S blade again and add the sugar, seasonings, mayonnaise and vinegar. Process for one minute with dial on 3. Toss the dressing with the cabbage mixture. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
