WUB-OAS Installation • For single set top box implementations, insert the WUB-OAS into the USB port of the set top box, similar to the picture below at left. • For multiple set top box implementations, first align all the set top boxes on a shelf where the faceplate is equal.

WUB-OAS Installation with U-verse RF Remote • Items Needed: Tape, USB Hub (see below), WUB- OAS • The top picture at right shows a U- verse RF remote emitter. • For a WUB installation with the RF emitter, obtain a multiport USB hub with 2 or more ports.

WUB-OAS Installation with U-verse RF Remote (cont) • Plug the male end into the set top box, then align the ports to face the front of the box, as shown at right. Fasten the hub with tape. • Insert the WUB-OAS and the RF emitter into one of the ports.

IR Emitter Interference • Taping for placement of an IR Emitter on the set top box can interfere with a WUB-OAS operation. Shown at 1 at right, tape prevents any IR from reaching the IR receiver on the STB. • A correct taping is shown at 2 at right.
